CEO Bevil, a true connoisseur of style and heritage, embarked on a journey to create a space where Caribbean culture could shine through clothing. The year was 2021 when IslandFash took its first steps into the digital realm, and since then, we've been dedicated to bringing you high-quality, authentic Caribbean wear that reflects the richness of the islands.
Meet Bevil
Well familiar with the Caribbean culture, Bevil was born in Jamaica and raised in The Bahamas. IslandFash is the embodiment of his passion for fashion and culture. His vision drives us to showcase the beauty and vibrancy of Caribbean traditions.
Our story begins with Bevil's visit to Miami for the Miami Carnival Weekend. It was during this trip that he recognized a stark lack of representation of Caribbean wear in the fashion industry. The vibrant colors, the intricate patterns, and the stories woven into every fabric were largely absent from mainstream fashion. Determined to make a change, Bevil set out to create a brand that would not only fill this gap but celebrate the spirit of the Caribbean in all its forms.
